Call for peer reviewers

April 30, 2018
All postgraduate and early career researchers who would like to be involved in encouraging cutting edge and high standard scholarship in this open access online journal are invited to volunteer as member of the journal's advisory board. As a member of the advisory board, you will get hands-on experience of the peer reviewing process and be part of this dynamic and multi-disciplinary journal. The journal publishes articles of between 5,000 and 7,000 words, in four issues per year. Members of the advisory board are required to write a single page report on articles that relate to their specific research interest(s) and make a recommendation as to its suitability for publication. It is a 'double blind' process so both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. If you are interested, please send the following information to the Journal Research Editor Madhushala Senaratne (H.M.Senaratne@sussex.ac.uk)
  • Your name
  • Your institutional affiliation (if applicable)
  • Your position (e.g. PhD candiate, lecturer, etc.)
  • Your current e-mail address
  • At least two key words or phrases identifying your areas of expertise (please be specific: e.g. 'gender in contemporary British news reporting', rather than 'journalism')
Nb. those who are already members of the advisory board, please contact the editor to confirm/update contact details and areas of expertise. Please would other members on the list make their PG students aware of this opportunity. If you would like any further information, don't hesitate to contact the Journal Editor. Please disseminate to relevant students and networks. Many thanks.
